tools to handle ALEPH database

     DAF is the ALEPH file type of the BOS direct access files.

      current data base is called:
            DBASE:ADBSCONS.DAF
            ADBSCONS   ==>  /aleph/dbase/adbscons.daf

      next data base on test is called:
            DBASE:ADBSTEST.DAF
            ADBSTEST   ==>  /aleph/dbase/adbstest.daf  

     some tools have been installed :

      - to extract banks from the data base: dafcar.
      - to check a BOS data card file: chkcrd.
      - to insert new banks,replace or drop banks: cardaf.
      - to write an EPIO file of the data base: epiofmt.
      - to write a FMT file with all ALEPH bank formats: epiofmt.
      - to update the data base with new DDL: upddaf.
      - to create a DAF file from an EPIO file: eptoda.
