Procedure ALPUB

There are three sorts of publications :

• APR : Aleph Papers and Reports on physics [PPE preprints]
• PUB : general PUBlications, THESES and proceeding
• REP : aleph internal REPorts

On VXCERN

A tool exists to enquire easily the database

Type ALPUB argument to get a listing.

argument in any order, specifies your request.

If no specified, a little help text is displayed on your screen.

The various arguments are :

• SCREEN to display the list on your screen, can be omited if another argument is specified
• PRINT to print the list on the XEROXDD printer
• AUTHOR name to display or print the papers from the specified author
• STRING """blabla bla""" to display or print the papers with that string in the title or abstract
• year to display or print the papers of the specified year, specify only the last two digits
• yy-nnn to display or print the specified paper
• keyword to display or print the specified report
